Tari's School of Dance

General Information

 

  VISITORS

   Parents and visitors may watch from the observation area.  NO PARENTS or
   VISITORS are allowed in the classrooms!

  ATTENDANCE

   No refunds or deductions are given for missed classes.  Good attendance is
   essential to the child's progress. Your child may attend another section of his/her 
   class during the week to make up a missed class.

  DROP OFFS & PICKUPS

   Should be within 5-10 minutes of the beginning and end of class. There is no
   one to supervise students when they are not in class. Older students may not
   hang out at the studio when they are not in class.

  TARDINESS

   Arriving late for class is disruptive to the class and it is unfair to the student.  All
   students must arrive on time.

  CLASS CANCELLATIONS

   We will follow all East Baton Rouge Parish School closures due to bad weather.

  CLASS PLACEMENT

   Students class placement will be determined according to the age, ability, and
   maturity of the child. Final decision based on instructors decision.  Students over
   the age of 12 will be placed in either an advanced performance or non
   performance class as determined by their ability on the first day of class.

  DANCEWEAR

   Dancewear may be purchased through the Tari Wear store located in Taris
   School of Dance.

  LOST and FOUND

   Any items found at the studio are placed in the lost and found bin at the studio.
   Taris is not responsible for any items, which are left, lost or stolen at or from the
   studio.  Please return to the studio immediately to retrieve a forgotten item.
   Items in Lost and Found that are not picked up by the 15th of each month will
   be donated to the Salvation Army.  Label all shoes and clothing items.

  WITHDRAWAL

   If, for any reason, it becomes necessary to withdraw a child from a class, please
   notify the studio by written letter before the first of the next month to avoid
   tuition being charged again.  Tuition and other fees will continue to be charged
   until a letter of withdrawal has been received.  No refunds.  The final date to 
   Withdraw/Drop-out from a recital class is Thursday, December 17th, 2009.
   Please try to drop earlier than this as we have students on waiting lists for many  
   classes and we do not enroll after this date.  After this date, you will
   be responsible for paying tuition through the dance recital, and all fees(costume,
   video, printer, recital) associated with the recital held June 11th and 12th 2010.

  CONVENTION

   Convention attendance is open to ALL students.  Ms. Tari chooses
   all competition/company members during the summer session.
